CALGA ELIGIBILITY LIST

Restrictions as to the number of entries set by the host Club, or when an event is over-subscribed will be decided strictly on the basis of participation. Those players with the least number of rounds played in CALGA events within the preceding 24 month period will be eliminated first. The Host Rep, with the assistance of the Handicap Chairman, will go through the participation list in ascending order until the field is sized correctly.

Should there be a tie in the number of rounds played, participants will be selected from that number by blind draw. (For example if there are 4 places left and 6 players have played 8 rounds, two of those players will be eliminated by blind draw) .

Effective May 28, 2007 CALGA will no longer employ CALGA Handicaps or ID numbers but will use USGA handicaps in future tournaments.

The Handicap Chairman will continue to track scores comparing USGA and CALGA handicaps for one year. At the end of that time the new system will be reviewed to see if there are any significant changes or fluctuations in player handicaps.

The Handicap Chairman will still maintain records on attendance, eligibility to play, 99's and all the other duties she has previously been handling.

CALGA Representatives are responsible for posting your members' CALGA scores every month. Of course the posting of all other scores is up to the individual player. Golf is a game of integrity and honesty and each CALGA member is expected to maintain a true record of her play.
