CALGA was formed in 1974 to promote the game of golf and foster

fellowship.

Members of CALGA play in monthly tournaments hosted by Member Clubs.

 

In 2011 CALGA members generously donated $789 to the Women's South Carolina Golf Association Junior Golf Foundation. see letter from WSCGA Junior Golf Foundation

CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Membership in CALGA is open to any Ladies Golf Association in the Charleston Area with a USGA rated 18 hole golf course. Each member must be able to host a CALGA tournament once a year without charging a greens fee and meet other requirements as stated in the by-laws.

 

 

CALGA is not simply about playing golf, it's also about sharing good times with friends, old and new

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

Players must be members in good standing of an eighteen hole group of a participating LGA and must have a USGA handicap of 36 or lower. When a player's sloped handicap exceeds 36 for a host course, she then becomes ineligible for that tournament with the exception of the 2-Day Classic.
